Strangely Accurate Movie Synopses
When I was a kid, before internet was widely available, if I was unfamiliar with a movie, I had to look it up in T.V. Guide. There in the back of the publication, were lists of films, complete with a plot synopsis of each film that was playing that week. Years later Steve Giuliano told me a story about a T.V. Guide synopsis for The Wizard of Oz that was off, but strangely accurate: " Transported to a sureal landscape, a young girl kills the first person she meets and then teams up with three strangers to kill again." We both laughed, because it was accurate, but seemed to paint a different picture of this immortal classic. Later, while passing the time at work, we formed a game based on this movie description. The following list is what both of us came up with. Welcome to Strangely Accurate Movie Synopses!
