Cashin' Checks and Breakin' Necks

I don't normally do update blogs, since I get the impression that most of of you who visit the site are interested in seeing videos and animations and not in my blog writing skills (That's why I leave it to professionals like Kyle Anderson). However, I wanted to let you all know what I've been up to this past week (Since it's interesting and actually has bearing on filmmaking)

This week I had the good fortune to act as consultant on the film translation of Breaking the Silence for Mirror Image. Enlisted by my friend and colleague Kenny Storms, my job was to help the production realize the theatrical vision of the stage show into a film production (Which included creating shot lists, consulting on lighting and camera angles and generally acting as sounding board for Kenny's ideas) I also was able to shoot a scene of the production which I am currently editing. The four day shoot went extremely well (For those interested, you can check out my play-by-play Twitter posts on this site or HERE ) The actors and staff were all extremely professional and Shane Littlepage and the Staff of the Children's Hospital were wonderful. I was glad to have the opportunity to contribute to such a beautiful project as well as learn from the theatrical professionals on the shoot.

I would like to thank Kenny Storms, Erin Jorgenson, Andrea Rabold for the opportunity to work on this project.
